I  AM  So  Encouraged!

Discouraging words seem to often come and stay,
while Encouraging words you'll know not the day;
a high or a low accompanies every breath,
and after being spoken delivers Life or Death.

When to his subtle speech I listen - I feel so discouraged;
but when I hear Your Voice - I become so encouraged!
When I consider his success - I feel so discouraged;
but when I hear His Voice - I become so encouraged!
When I see what I have done - I feel so discouraged;
but when I draw nigh to God - I become so encouraged!

Divinely Inspired thoughts are manifested To Day,
while for an evil intent to the fiddler you'll pay;
True cleansing shall come in Only One Fashion,
As Your heart becomes filled with His Own Passion.

When I think of what I have seen - I feel so discouraged;
but with His Touch of eye salve - I become so encouraged!
When I make up my mind - I feel so discouraged;
but with a whisper of grace - I become so encouraged!
When I resume control - I feel so discouraged;
but when I die to myself - I become so encouraged!

Unrighteous acts have ends brought on by means,
Righteous Endowment is enhanced by what He gleans;
Know from remarks or advice discouragement will appear,
But Your True Faith in The Lord will cause
Divine Encouragement to become Dear!
