Your Garden of Intent

I found myself at work
in the garden of Your Intent,
when I knew that I was lacking
what I needed to be content;
I had a need to encourage -
I could not give up or quit,
how could I convince another
not to jump into the pit.
It was then I heard Your Voice -
as You spoke into my ear,
Use the Gift I've given you,
You must Rise Up, Don't Fear!
Be willing Now to give your all -
Don't settle for second best,
as your Drive and Devotion
will then inspire all the rest!
Then You'll also look within -
and find me when You're in need,
looking then for Your own gift -
I have given You indeed!

Believe God has given you a gift
and allow Him to teach you
how to use that gift for His Glory
to encourage others.
