Eyes ~
If I had eyes in the
back of my head
I’d still need
only one pair of glasses
I wouldn’t worry
about those in back
They are blind when the
enemy passes!
If I had eyes in the
back of my head
I’d have no need
for special blinders
I wouldn’t even
have to shield my eyes
From all the
unrighteous reminders!
If I had eyes in the
back of my head
I’d have no need
to inspect under rugs
I wouldn’t even
try to sneak a peek
At the number of his
hidden bugs!
If I had eyes in the
back of my head
I’d probably be
considered strange
None would willingly
accept my state
Or be willing to make
an exchange!
If I had eyes in the
back of my head
I’d not want to
see where I’ve been
Because those eyes
belong to him
The one who’ll
never see life again!
