A NEW HEART HE DOES GIVE !

To a youngster I had been talking, when afterwards to me You did reveal; in the conversation I once had with her, certain words had a different appeal. I contemplated every word that was said, of which were many I couldn't comprehend;
But one thought appeared so crystal clear; I realized the flavour did seem to mend. I recall more than once in that former time, my feelings could not have been your own;
But ever so discreetly, in time it came to pass, You revealed what You had already known! So, now, I know for sure the day will come, even though the past appears to stay; I will then come to understand The Truth, When All that's old will be passed away.  The tarnished, battered, wretched ways, will be replaced with Life and Brightness new; that outshines and confounds the former, Just as Life is different from the death I knew!   But first I must acknowledge this flavor, before the seeds of Life are able to survive, No longer would I be able to bear the taste; Knowing You will not Your Children deprive.  Hand in hand we should all choose to walk that through us You would be allowed to live; I understand that once I had surrendered all,
Only then Your Life and Heart You could give!
