THE REFLECTION OF YOUR SMILE

AND WHAT IT MEANS TO ME

I woke up early this morning, looking for Your dear, sweet smile;
I recall the loving tenderness, You offered each and every mile;
It was then so very apparent, what was evident all the while;
That everyone You came in contact with,
became The Reflection of Your Smile!

Time and days, they’ll continue on, just as they always have in the past;
With one exception I know for sure, Your life it was and still is so vast;
While strength & courage You possessed,
has become my precious promise while;
Your soft and gentle touch within,
Is revealed by The Reflection of Your Smile!

Just as The Word is spoken, or a dream upon the bed;
a brief glimpse of some former act, or a reminder of something said;
So is the lasting impression, of Your Image that's on file;
I’ll’ never forget, as content I am,
Just to see The Reflection of Your Smile!

And now I have that something special, which has become so dear to me;
No matter where I go or what I do, In front of me You’ll always be;
Your loving, caring, and heartfelt warmth, are on every television dial;
So the way I look and all I see,
Have Become The Reflection of Your Smile!

This poem is written in memory of my sister.  Because her nature was a gift of The Lord; the writer was inspired by The Lord to write what appears in all the faces that he now sees. The Light and Love of The LORD now radiates through all smiling faces!
