~ The Day Given Me ~

Should my life be consumed by worry

My death would not even be blessed

With days to serve The King of kings

Or to offer Him my very best!

Would I allow the cares of life

To distract my Kingdom view

With nights so full of my own pride

I’d then learn what vanity could do!

Should I greet “ The Day ” given me

To understand each month and year

Are all in the exact proportion

I’d then have no reason to fear!

Would I then accept the weeks

To know I’d been given sufficient time

To accomplish my own mission

Knowing I shared a moment in time!

So: Rather than use the right to complain

I will appreciate “ The Day ”given me

For Our God of the whole Universe

Was only in the flesh till thirty three!
