A HAVEN OF REST

but as many grow old;
many regrets are maintained in the memories of the past.

I shall not have any regrets should I find myself growing old, because I have realized that there are many that do not experience this special priviledge.

So, Even though I know that my youth has been spent,
that my get up and go, has got and went!
I will continue to rejoice in The Lord,
knowing He makes each and every day anew!
    

WHEN I GROW UP

How great it feels when you have met someone who obviously has the special inner quality, while delivering comfort to your own heart.  Just as two ships pass in the night, so is the significance of this one planned meeting.  Many are granted opportunities to be light bearers, and they graciously deliver encouragement to the hearts of the needy.

Many have expressed what is important in life.  Many have been heard saying what they would like to accomplish before they come to the end of the road.  Many conversations have revolved around this simple concept.  I, as well, have found myself studying this human dilemma more than once in my life.

Very simply the answer came, through a verse in the bible that I had read many times.  As always, it is only when I hear what The Lord is saying, then I understand the truth

In the verse, The Word, The Truth, The Light appeared.

Let brotherly love continue.
Be not forgetful to entertain strangers:
for thereby some have entertained angels unawares.
Hebrews 13:1-2

I then realized what I wanted to be when I had finally grown up into a mature Christian.  Just as the appearance of these strangers was perfectly planned, so I want my life to be.   I trust The Lord to teach and train me to be a ministering spirit to someone in need.   I hope that every one I meet, will be blessed through the encounter. 

What a great honor it would be when meeting someone, while knowing what your duty is, while seeking no gain or pleasure, heavenly warmth flows into a needy heart, and another soul is nurtured by The Hand of The Almighty.

In other words:
When I grow up,  I want to be a ministering spirit.  I want to look forward to every soul meeting, to the point, that every person will know that: The Presence of The Lord was in that place. Only by The Power of The Lord, can we be trained as obedient servants, to thankfully be, blessings in disguise.  May the next person I meet, have the same hope!   What a wonderful encounter it would be!

To Day, allow The Lord to use you as a ministering spirit, by being a light bearer to a needy soul!
