In
the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was
in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing
made that was made. In him was life; and the life was the light of men.
But as many as received him, to them gave he power to become the sons of God, even
to them that believe on his name: Which were born, not of blood, nor of the will
of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God. And the Word was made flesh, and dwelt
among us, (and we beheld his glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father,) full
of grace and truth.
John 1:1-3,12-14 (KJV)
Whosoever therefore shall confess me before men, him will I confess also before my
Father which is in heaven.
But whosoever shall deny me before men, him will I also deny before my Father
which is in heaven.
Matthew 10:32-33 (KJV)
Who is a liar but he that denieth that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, that
denieth the Father and the Son. Whosoever denieth the Son, the same hath not the Father: (but)
he that acknowledgeth the Son hath the Father also. Let that therefore abide in you,
which ye have heard from the beginning. If that which ye have heard from the beginning
shall remain in you, ye also shall continue in the Son, and in the Father. And this is the
promise that he hath promised us, even eternal life.
