MERRY CHRISTMAS, SON !

It was the Christmas season of 1992 when I
was talking to a friend in the front of his wife's business.  He was about fifteen years my senior.  It was while I was talking to him that I recalled a lesson The Lord taught me through His Word.

Many people we meet in the way are not what we think they are, as well, their words are not always just simple words.  Could it be possible that this person we are listening to, could be someone sent in our path by The Lord?  Could this person be saying something that The Lord intended for our ears?

This was the case for me that day.  The Lord spoke to me through this man.  It was a direct fulfillment of 1 Corinthians 14:21. For some reason I was not as joyful as I should have been.  I knew that I needed a spiritual lift.  There was One Who knew what I needed more than myself.

It was then when I heard those simple words spoke through this man.  I knew when I heard those words, The Father himself was speaking to me.
Yes, as Jesus said many times: " According to thy faith, be it unto thee.

His simple three words melted my heart, and I knew that The Father really loves us!
He said: " MERRY CHRISTMAS, SON !

What would you say if The Father said that to You?  How do you know that He hasn't already?

Would your reply have been:

Happy Birthday Jesus!   I love You too, Father!  Praise You LORD !
