CHRISTIAN IS A PERSON :
WHO HAS EYES THAT CHRIST CAN SEE THROUGH;
WHO
HAS EARS THAT CHRIST CAN HEAR OTHER'S CRIES WITH;
WHO
HAS A MIND THAT CHRIST CAN THINK THROUGH;
WHO
HAS A HEART THAT CHRIST CAN LOVE OTHERS WITH;
WHO
HAS HANDS THAT CHRIST CAN HELP OTHERS WITH;
WHO
HAS FEET THAT CHRIST CAN WALK THAT EXTRA MILE WITH;
WHO
DOES NOT HAVE HIS OWN WILL BUT HAS GIVEN ALL POWER AND AUTHORITY TO THE WILL OF GOD;
WHO ACCEPTS NO PRAISE FOR OBEDIENCE TO
SUBMISSION BUT STRIVES
TO GIVE ALL GLORY, HONOR, AND PRAISE DUE, TO THE LORD;

CHRISTIAN IS TO SUFFER AND DIE FOR CHRIST THAT OTHERS MIGHT COME TO KNOW THE DEPTHS OF THE
LOVE OF CHRIST !
I asked the Lord why
He blessed me so much. I had a feeling of being so blessed. I knew what kind of a life I
had lived and how hard the struggle was but now after having come to the
knowledge of the truth and realizing how foolish I had been and finding life so much
easier, one could say victorious; I wondered why the Lord blessed me so much, I wanted
others to also be enabled to share in the victory.
The answer I received
was simple and to the point. He told me that whether I was obedient or disobedient to His
Word, He still loved me. So many times, over and over I continue to disobey Him, but He
still loves me. However, when I choose to obey Him, then comes the blessings which I am
not able to receive because of their number. If I choose to disobey Him, then I must
suffer the consequences, for as His Word says, God is
not mocked, whatsoever a man sows, that shall he also reap; if I sow to the flesh- I
shall reap corruption but should I sow to the spirit- I shall reap everlasting life.
The Lord laid down the
ground rules before the foundation of the earth, He is absolutely just and when He said;
if I do this- I can expect this to happen, and when he said; if I do that- I could expect
that to happen. In either case the consequences would be appropriate for the actions. It
is a matter of being just, which He is. Good get good, bad get bad, obedience brings
blessings while disobedience brings the curse.
I realize that any troubles
that come my way, I must persevere and keep my eyes on the Lord. Whether I have brought
those troubles on myself or they are they which the will of God wants me to be a part of,
while assisting others find the truth in their own lives and troubles; that I might be
strengthened and grow whereby He will receive the glory as others see the true fruit of
the Spirit revealed as God's hand is at work.
Now I know for a truth,
when ever troubles come my way, I must first consider; have I truly kept my eyes upon the
Lord and been obedient to His every word. I must then stop every thing I'm doing and trust
the Lord for the way to come above the troubles that I might learn and grow to be enabled
to help others. Basically I have found the formula, when things fail and don't go as I
wanted--I was in charge; but when things seemed to have clicked right into place--I can be
assured that the Lord had the upper hand because I was in submission to Him.
Remember: God loves you
no matter if you do what He says or not but if you do what He says--then you can expect to
be blessed. Once you have truly obeyed and received from Him, you will know the truth in
these words and desire to do your best for Him.
