Within Inches

One day as I was talking to my father on the phone, I had the
experience of a life time.  All of a sudden I heard a loud noise.
It was so loud, my father heard it as well through the phone.
I had no idea what it was until I turned around.  I was standing
in front of my dining room window.  When I turned around, I noticed what had happened, but was unaware why.  The window that I was
standing in front of was broken.  After looking at the inside of the window, and seeing no signs of what could have caused the window to be broken; I went outside to inspect the window.  Right at the edge of the glass, in the frame, I noticed an indentation.  As I looked around,
just below the window, I found this bullet.  Someone had fired the
gun, the bullet came toward me, and if it had not been for the small
one inch frame; well, I'm sure you can understand what the outcome would have been.   Only by The Grace of The Lord am I here to tell!
