CLUTCH OF DEATH

The fear of many was not unknown to The Lord.  He forewarn us about the many hours we spend unable to control what happens in our lives.  When we lay our head upon the pillow, our trust must be in Him who can save us.  We all have found ourselves vulnerable to the enemy attacks on our soul.
I like many, had the similar fear.  When I would go to sleep at night, I wondered how I could protect myself while I was sleeping.  The only way I knew, and that was to place all of my trust in The Lord.  I arose that morning like I always did before, but this time I was to receive a witness from The Lord through my wife.  I would soon be informed of an evil attack in the middle of the night that I was completely unaware of had even occurred.
She informed me that in the middle of the night her sleep
was interrupted by the dog growling and then she began to hear what sounded like gurgling sounds coming from me.  She told me it was if someone had a strangle hold of my neck and was trying to choke me.  She continued by saying that it went on for a bit and suddenly she heard a voice come from me and the evil presence vanished in an instant.
Upon being informed of what had happened, I rejoiced and praised The Lord.  With this news, I knew that I did not have to fear when I was asleep.  I was not aware of what happened so it was not of my doing to be able to restrain any evil attempt on my life. Only Jesus is able, and with this He showed me how it is done.
The presence of He who is in us is greater than he who is in the world.  The Spirit will protect us when we can not.  There is no time in our lives that we can protect ourselves, because we don't battle against flesh and blood.  Our enemy can only be restrained and defeated in our lives by He who gave us our lives.

Remember The Lord's promise:
The wicked shall no more pass through you, he is utterly cut off!
