UNDER CONSTRUCTION

It came to me in a dream upon my bed, The Truth that IS.  In the dream, I was at a construction site.   New houses were being built. The ones that were finished, I was not led through, but, the ones that were under construction are the ones that I was allowed to see.

I had an immediate awareness that this construction site was in heaven and not on earth.  He who was giving me the tour, I did not see, but I knew that it was The Spirit who was guiding me through the site.

I was allowed to meet one construction worker in each house.  There was a carpenter, an electrician, a plumber, and many other workers.  There was one thing that I noticed as I left each house.   Each and every worker had a distinguishing similarity that I couldn't explain.

All the while, as I was going from house to house, there was a giant yellow bull dozer on the hill.  I knew that it had a meaning, but it would not be revealed to me until years later.  Every worker I talked with, even though being a different person, bearing no outer resemblance; all had the one similar trait.

It then occurred to me that I had been meeting the same worker in each home.  When I reached the end of the street, the very last house, it finally occurred to me that from the very first house, even to the very last house, all the work had been completed by the same worker.

This last worker I met, as soon as I appeared before Him, I bowed my face to him as I realized who He actually was.   I realized that there was nothing I could say to Him because I knew that He knew everything about me.  For He was at work not only in all of these homes, but, He was at work in me also.  These homes merely represented all men.  The brick mason I met last, was sitting there with a brick in his left hand and a trowel in his right.

I knew right then that Jesus is the only worker.  It is either Him that is at work in a person's life or not.  All work that is fruitful is of His doing, any other is truly vanity.  I knew that I was saved by His grace and His work and not mine.

Only Jesus can work the work of The Father, not man.

A few years later, I understood the bull dozer.
It was also He, as it is used to move that which can not be moved by man.

I know that I can trust Him to work if I will allow Him to accomplish what He has started.

Praise The LORD !
