WELCOME

MY FIRST LOVE

My wife and I were talking to the two of them when the realization came to me.  We were talking with another man and his wife.   I knew that I had known the wife in my distant past.  I also knew that I had been deeply in love with this woman in my youth.

I was frightened to think that I might have some hidden lust.  I also knew that my dreams were sent from The Lord for instructional purposes, and not to be explained away like so many try to do.  I immediately knew that there was a message here.  I recall falling back to sleep for a few hours, and when I arose again, I still remembered the dream that I had.

I sought The Lord for the meaning of the dream.  I knew that I had not known or desired the young woman in a fleshly manner.   I just knew that I had once loved her.  I recall having spoke only a few words to her privately.  The Lord used those words to reveal the message.  I simply whispered in her ear:
" I was not good enough for You!

All the while my wife and I had been talking to them, I sensed that this young lady had a power of love that many envied.   I knew that she had a powerful love for me that I could not explain.  But I still couldn't understand what this dream meant.

Then The Lord revealed to me that the dream was intended as spiritual insight.  The young woman was purposed to represent Christ and His love for me.  The few words I whispered explain how I had left him from youth, and for what reason; but He still loved and cared for me.  It didn't matter who I was or what I had done; His love remained constant.  He wants all his children, his spouses, to return to Him and to embrace Him, and love Him.

I knew that I had left my first love but He wanted me to know that no matter what I thought I was, I remained His and could come home.

The day will come when the bride of Christ will be reunited with The husband of her dreams.  Is your husband waiting to embrace you, hoping that you will want to come back to His arms of love?
