"From This Moment Forward "

He is not the God of the past, neither is He the God of the future, nor is He The God of the present; rather, He Is The God of "From This Moment Forward!" Yes, He Is in His Own words:

And Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that comes to me shall never hunger; and he that believes on me shall never thirst. [John 6:35] I am the living bread which came down from heaven: if any man eat of this bread, he shall live for ever: and the bread that I will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. [John 6:51] Then spoke Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that follows me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life. [John 8:12] Jesus said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Before Abraham was, I am. [John 8:58] Then said Jesus unto them again, Verily, verily, I say unto you, I am the door of the sheep. [John 10:7] I am the good shepherd: the good shepherd gives his life for the sheep. [John 10:11]

Say you of him, whom the Father has sanctified, and sent into the world, You blaspheme; because I said, I am the Son of God? [John 10:36] Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believes in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live: [John 11:25] You call me Master and Lord: and You say well; for so I am. [John 13:13] Jesus says unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man comes unto the Father, but by me. [John 14:6]

I am the true vine, and my Father is the husbandman. [John 15:1]

He looked at me with such a sad countenance, and with what seemed to be such pain, he managed to get the words out of his mouth: "As a child of God", he said, "Where do I go from here? It's too painful to relive the past, I can't even imagine what the future holds in store for me, I don't know what to do to maintain my sanity because I'm constantly so depressed & lonely; I can't cope with having lost my best friend (my wife), I feel like I am in prison."

The significance of his being my neighbor, my friend, my brother, naturally, as well as spiritually, caused me to realize the bond I shared with him, as I sensed the unbearable excruciating pain he was experiencing. What could I say? What could the key to unlock the prison doors or release him from the pain of the past, present, and future be?

Have you lost your best friend, your spouse, your parent, your child, or someone you can't bear to live without? Does life seem to have no more meaning because they are no longer with you in body? Allow them to be with you in spirit as they live on with you(as a memorial), & be the light, The I AM, has purposed you to be, "From This Moment Forward", & Get on with your life & be that light, that others will glorify The Lord, as you as well glorify Him by honoring Him. MANY EYES ARE STUDYING YOU!

Be mindful, He is The God, I AM, "From This Moment Forward", and not the God of the past, so what has happened is in the past, to be forgotten. Reliving past successes or failures, reliving past joys and sorrows, reliving past victories and defeats, even considering, I should have or I shouldn't have, or considering, if not for this or if not for that, or had I known or done this or that; then maybe? It is all the past! Realize that your baptism in the Lord was also it's spiritual memorial.

He is not even the God of the future, so what you hope will happen, or dreaming of the way things could or should be,or wondering in fear of what will happen next,or being fearful of each & every step you might make because of the unknown, or not being able to comprehend how to acquire the ability to cope with the future or unknown; it's all the future & has it's own problems.

He is not even the God of the present, of what is happening, and so being concerned and worried because of the past which is causing you to be fearful of the future (as you are allowing it to be your thumb-rule or gauge), as it unknowingly has become the pattern you expect for the future or what the future holds in store for you, or being unable to cope and continue in the present as you are unable to act and think each moment, which causes a listless or unconcerned, even careless, almost zombie like attitude and character, having no hope, dreams or vision.

But, rather, He IS The God of From This Moment Forward! So "From This Moment Forward", consider the Cross (The Crucifixion of Your Saviour) as though it happened yesterday, you just accepted Him today, & He is coming again tomorrow, & don't be worried a-bout tomorrow or what it may bring, as you deal with each moment as it comes, even, while you consider that tomorrow, even the next moment, you will be with Him, even sooner than you think.

She said, "I'm sorry, I accidentally dated the transaction for 1992 rather than for 1996"; and then she said, " Wouldn't it be nice to be able to relive the past, to be given a second chance to do it right?" But consider, Should He grant you an extra four years, Wouldn't you be wise to esteem it as an opportunity to live "From This Moment Forward?" Or what difference would there be, should no mistake have been made in the date, or even if one was given the opportunity to see the future, to alter the past?

Remember, that each and every moment of your life is an opportunity The LORD has given you, which He has intended or purposed to be a choice building block (each moment) leading you to the next choice building block (moment) until He has accomplished and achieved,in you, the perfect stature of a man, even as Jesus Christ. All that happens or all that matters is what you have done in the name of and for Jesus Christ. So be that person who lives from one moment to the next moment, eagerly anticipating with steadfast confidence MAKING YOUR NEXT STEP(choice), relying upon your trust you have placed in God, that He will guide you to select or choose those moments, those correct moments, or building blocks, the building blocks He has purposed in building the perfect man, that perfect man, He intended for you to be.
