" THE PERFECT WEDDING CAKE "

He tried the door knob, but it appeared to be locked. He was about to leave, but decided to try one last time to enter into the secret chambers. As he touched the door knob, he thought,

" Lord, I sure would like to really understand ! "; and immediately the door opened without any effort on his part. As he entered into the inner chambers of the head office, he had the distinct impression that all he had previously assumed was indeed all fallacy and not truth. Now he knew that the proposed claim was entirely fact or the untarnished truth. The bakery appeared like all others on the outside. The operation of it appeared to be no different, and anyone without insight would not have considered the possibility that there was more to it than what met the eye.

Upon entering the inner chambers, he was amazed by the perfect order of everything his eyes were seeing, just as he was equally amazed at the obvious complexity of all which now was being revealed to him. He had no idea that so much could be concealed by such a simple outward appearance. Never again would he try to pass off the possibility that there is nothing else than what meets the eye. He wanted to know and understand more.

As he studied all which his eyes could focus on, he noticed how detailed everything was.

Everything right down to the very smallest detail was laid out in perfect order or priority. But if he just looked at the whole picture at one time, only, he knew he lacked what it would take to be able to understand how to keep perfect order. When his attention was focused on the step by step procedure well portrayed, simplicity and lack of confusion was very evident.

As he studied some of the knowledge, understanding, and wisdom or directions he was now experiencing, he realized that he needed to be more careful about taking things for granted through assumption. He clearly saw that there was much emphasis on even the smallest detail and everything was important for the success of the final cake. This baker was not a novice baker - He knew what he was doing. He was not going to allow anything to cause his cake to fail. He had all the contingencies planned ahead of time. It was almost like a chess game strategy, He knew what would happen before it happened.

Now, as he reflected on what he was privileged to see, he realized that he himself was a cake that the Heavenly Father was making for that final day as a presentation to His Son, The Saviour of the world. Not only that, He realized that every believer, every one born again, was part of the big cake He was making. He realized that many ingredients were being used in the process, some secret and some very obvious. The baking process was as well not as simple as he first assumed. Every thing was right there in front of him, so well detailed. He realized that he somehow had passed supernaturally into the heart of God. He now knew that God was baking The Perfect Wedding Cake.

I now realize in the same sense, everything that happens in my life, is an essential ingredient not only for me as the cake, but as well for my works being ingredients for the whole cake. Others are as equally important for the whole.
