" THE WHEEL CHAIR EVANGELIST "

Let me tell You about my background: In the summer of 1983 I became more tired and weak than was normal and this sensation continued throughout the autumn. On the 20th of December that year I had to go to the hospital of Uppsala, and the diagnosis I got was that my liver could no longer get rid of the copper waste that was building up in my body.

When I started the medication and the copper started worse - one of my feet started to drag behind me, within a month my speech had disappeared and on night, I woke up to see that my hand had become twisted. I was in terrible pain and my physical condition grew worse very fast.

Soon I could not manage without a wheel -chair, but at first I could not sit in the chair more than 15 minutes at a time. My whole life was wrecked, and in the summer of 1984 I felt that something inside was missing, an inner peace and joy. I recieved Jesus in my heart and also joy and happiness!

Later I came to understand the great privilege of following Jesus in baptism, and I was baptised in 1986. My pain disappeared in 1987 and I know that the Lord is with me and gives me the strength I need to meet a new day.

He tells me: "Never to give up!". My inner self is well and I know my name has been written in the book of life.

I also know that my physical being will recover completely - of course I have wondered why I should catch this strange and severe illnes, but I believe that God's work will be revealed and that the name of the Lord will be glorified. I find life very exciting, and I look forward to each new day with the Lord. I never know what the Lord has planned for me.

If you have not opened your heart for Jesus yet, then I would like to recommened that you try life in Jesus Christ. Do not stare at the circumstanses that form your life, but keep you eyes on the Lord. He did everything for you when he died on the cross, to rise again! I would like to share a word from the Bible with you, it is Romans l:16

"For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ,
for it is the power of God to salvation
for everyone who believes"
AMEN
